Advertising and Promotion Course
This course was a study of the basic principles of advertising and promotion including the study of promotional media, practices and theories and the effects of advertising and promotion in the firm, the economy, and society. An important part of this course was the team project where we focused on developing an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) solution for Burton Snowboards.
Acting as an advertising agency, my team developed a marketing plan for Burton Snowboards. Understanding the marketing fundamentals was important in order to create an effective campaign and be creative. My role in the project was to develop media and graphics for the marketing plan and gather all of the teams efforts together, creating the packet and presentation.
